One method of classifying perfumes is their concentration. Perfumes are aromatic compounds and substances dissolved in alcohol. Depending on the amount of essential oils or fragrance compounds used, we can divide them into perfume extract (Parfum), Eau de Parfum (EdP), Eau de Toilette (EdT) and Eau de Cologne (EdC). Eau de Parfum is a fragrance that is more intense, exquisite and essential than Eau de Toilette, which is why it lasts longer on the skin. Perfect for colder days and festive occasions.
